1962 Corvette Convertible

Roman Red exterior, Red interior, White convertible top.  NOM 360hp 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission.  This car is LOADED with documentation and history, and judging by several parts and certain locations of other parts, we believe this to be an original 1962 Fuelie.  Although the fuel is currently delivered via a 4 barrel Holley carb and Edelbrock Performer intake, a correct '62 Fuelie setup is available at additional cost.  Tons of receipts for parts will be included; according to said receipts, this car was painted in 1996, and has probably not been driven much since, as the paint is overall very good with an excellent shine and just a few small touch-ups.  Front chrome has a great shine and no rust or dings, but is a bit wavy in a few places.  Rear chrome is excellent with no apparent flaws.  Stainless trim looks mostly original; there is one small area on the exterior of the driver's window where a corner of the trim was bent, but the rest of the trim is in overall very good condition.  Door handles are in overall very good condition as well with some minor hazing.  Original hubcaps and wheels are present; hubcaps are in very good shape with no visible dings or rust, and have been nicely polished.  Tires are Firestone whitewalls, and appear to be bias-ply.  All 4 headlights are correct T3 units.  Weatherstripping appears newer and is soft and pliable.  Although it is older, the convertible top still looks great with no tears or rips, and has some minor hazing in the rear window.  Interior shows very well with the newer seat covers having no tears or rips; dash pad is also excellent, as are the door panels.  Carpet is correct loop style and looks newer, but is slightly faded at the lower door panel trim area.  Gauges are good with very minor fading; clock is not working at this time.  Steering wheel is excellent and shiny, showing just a few very small cracks near the rim.  The frame on this car is extremely solid and appears to be rust-free as well.  Engine compartment of this car is nicely detailed, and shows correct fuel injection exhaust manifolds, correct hose clamps, and the correct position for the washer fluid reservoir in a fuel injection car, which also appears intact.  Ignition shielding is not currently installed, but is available with the fuel injection setup.  Current VIN was issued by the state of Kansas in 1980, which we have documentation for, as well as a copy of a title from 1978 stating the original VIN.  Also included is a list of previous owners (some with phone numbers) and a written history of the car, as well as the original owner's manual, original Chevrolet shop manual, and several other manuals and guides to the fuel injection setup.  Photos of the refinishing of the body as well as the engine rebuild will be included also.  Original options on this car include 4 speed manual transmission, heater, and Wonderbar AM radio.
