1964 Corvette Convertible

 Code correct Riverside Red exterior, code correct Red vinyl interior, Black convertible top.  Numbers matching originally 375hp 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission.  This was was the top dog for 1964!  Although its original fuel injection manifold and parts are long gone, this car runs like a rocket with a GM intake and Carter AFB  Competition Series 4 bbl carburetor and should make the same horsepower as the top-level carbureted 327/365.  We have verified that this is a fuelie not only from the casting numbers, but also from the currently vacant mounting holes which once secured the air cleaner setup for the factory Rochester mechanical fuel injection.  Although the driver's exhaust manifold is numbers matching, the passenger side has been replaced at one point and now shows a non-matching code.  The Riverside Red lacquer paint shows very well with nearly zero orange peel complemented by very good chrome and an excellent interior with like-new carpet, seat covers, door panels, and dash.  Much of the frame and chassis has had a glossy undercoating applied which protects this 64 from corrosion.  Original factory options for this car include an AM/FM radio.  This car also wears its original hubcaps, which show well.  Additionally, this car has been upgraded with a chrome alternator and fan.  An excellent driver that will grab everyone's attention!
