correct Rally Red exterior, original Red vinyl interior has been
upgraded to Red leather, Black convertible top. This is about as
nice as they get as far as smallblock midyear driver
convertibles go -- paint is excellent and looks to be lacquer.
The leather seat covers are in very nice shape, probably a year
or two old showing only minimal wear. Door panels, dash, and
console are excellent also. Seat belts are newer and function
well. Correct loop style carpet is very good showing little wear
with matching floormats. Additionally, the Black vinyl soft top
is in great condition with a clear window and no tears or major
blemishes. Chrome shows very good to excellent. Less than 1,000
miles have been put on this freshly rebuilt matching numbers
327/300hp engine, which was built to 350hp specs. At this same
time, a new carburetor, new clutch and pressure plate, new
shifter, new U-Joints, new pilot bearing, new taillight lenses,
new headlight motors, rebuilt speedometer, and rebuilt calipers
were all installed. Transmission shifts smoothly with a
precision that is not normally found in these cars -- reverse is
no longer a chore to find! Engine compartment on this car is
very clean with ignition shielding in place. This car sounds
just plain MEAN with its sidepipes! Wheel covers show nicely
with some fading on the center caps. This midyear sports the
following options: 4 speed manual transmission, AM/FM radio,
power antenna, and RARE power steering (1 of 3,236). This is a
real HEAD TURNER!! Even the clock works! Includes original
owner's manual.
