Description

SEE MORE PHOTOS OF THIS VETTE AND MANY OTHERS FOR SALE AT WWW.BUYAVETTE.NET! Code correct Riverside Red exterior, code correct Black vinyl interior. Period correct NOM 340hp 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Features include knockoff style wheels, AM/FM radio. Originally assembled on February 4, 1963, this 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe is in very nice condition, and comes with the desirable 4 speed manual transmission. Unlike most Red '63s you see, this one was actually Red from the factory, and currently shows good-vg paint, with a great shine. With the exception of the windshield, all exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Chrome bumpers show a vg-exc finish, as do the exterior door handles. Taillights and weatherstripping are vg-exc as well, as are the knockoff style wheels and associated spinners. Medium whitewall radial tires show an average of 10/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and and average of 9/32nds remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe shows vg-exc seats, door panels, dash pods, glovebox lid, center console, and carpet, and vg seatbelts. Cutpile style floor mats with flag logo have been added. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place, and 6x9 speakers have been added in the rear of the car. The period correct NOM 327ci engine in this 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe shows correct casting number 3782870, original casting date February 12, 1963, and final assembly date February 14, 1963. Stamp pad shows an "RE" suffix, and a non-matching VIN. Based on this information, we can say that this would have been a 340hp engine, originally installed in a 1963 Corvette that was likely assembled within a month of this car. 340hp style air cleaner and valve covers are also present, as well as correct ignition shielding, radiator hoses, and hose clamps. An aluminum radiator has been added as well. Frame is solid and rust-free. Included with this car will be a binder containing receipts and records dating back to 2017.
